World Book Day 2023
This year pupils had the option of dressing as a favourite book character or coming in their pyjamas.
We shared lots of our favourite stories. All this week the children have had the opportunity to listen to a story of their choosing. The children heard extracts from different books and then decided which one they would like to hear at story time.
World Book Day 2022
This year pupils had the option of dressing as a favourite book character or coming in their own clothes provided they wrote a book review at home. These pictures show the winners of the costume and book review competitions.
We also had a great day full of drama thanks to the Altru Drama Company who supported each class with story-telling and performances based on the 'Open a Book' theme. The children absolutely loved it.
